Little but mighty, this little rescue dog was very protective of his family and was the sweetest little bum wiggling baby who believed he was way bigger than he was.

He wasn’t a fan of the pool or baths and loved to tuck himself under his blankie then squirm and struggle to find his way out to finally emerge from his slumber.

This is little man Alfie when he was a teeny weeny pup.

He’s much more grown up now but still puppy looking. He was one of the most ever cutest commission pieces to draw.

Such a cute loaf of fluff!

He is a mature old boy who loves to play catch with next level puppy enthusiasm.

Incredibly loyal and super calm he’ll swim a long way to bring his ball back and most times run and run a loooong way as far as you can catapult that ball. 

Introducing little lady Chicken. A super cute little poser with salon perfect hair who really knew how to work the camera….that sideways glance….ooof! She was an absolute joy to draw!

This is the wonderful Dot! This wonderful glee weeing pup has grown up to be a fine young lady. Looking very distinguished and spending her days mostly in sloth mode, it’s hard to believe she once opened some glue and stuck her toes together.

Introducing the ever so sweet and energetic Louis! This sweet little guys portrait is the first for the year and most travelled while in progress. He finally made it to his home in sunny Queensland! Super happy and I still can’t get over how amazing his fur coat is. I wonder if he’s ever used product or if it’s just au naturel!

This is little man Teddy. He was commissioned as a Christmas gift and travelled all the way to New Zealand. Super super cute little guy!

This is the lovely Goosy. I had the honour of drawing Goosy as a Christmas gift in memory of her. She was a gentle cat who’d sit on your chest lick ice cream and enjoyed being on the sand at the beach.

This is Pin (Pinny-Chan), he lives in Yokohama, Japan and is the almighty protector of my amazing friend Miwa! He’s the kindest, sweetest and most loyal mini being i know. I got him this beautifully knitted beanie not realising how teeny he was. This little guy has a bigger wardrobe than me and Miwa tells me he has quite a few beanies to keep his little noggin and big ears warm. 

This is Bobby when he was a kitten. Super curious and inquisitive, his eyes say it all. He was a very cute housemate and an excellent ‘helper’ on the balcony garden. Took it upon himself to re-pot some succulents while i was out on a few occasions. His little dusty jelly bean paws also made him an excellent drifter while completing his time trial laps of the apartment.

She was the lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback who I had the pleasure of meeting on a camping trip in Alice Springs way way back in 2013! I remember her wandering through the crunchiest leaves and grasses in the middle of the night thinking there were dingos!

This is Lord Nelson in his most regal pose. He was a commission piece for a birthday gift in memory of the little guy. It was a wonderful pleasure having met him a few years back on an adventure to Cairns. He was super purrrry and a very affectionate little guy.

This is Pepper the most loyal, hyperactive and gentle canine I’ve known. I was honoured to be commissioned to draw his portrait as a birthday gift in memory of him at the top of Sydney Park with his fave chewed up ball. 

I had the wonderful pleasure of being commissioned to draw this regal lion as a gift. Representing the fifth sign of the zodiac, the Leo, this was one of my most favourite portraits to draw!  

Oh the wonderfully mischievous and ever so cheeky Lyla! Regular Trivia attendee and cleaner upper of all fallen food. I had the pleasure of being commissioned to draw her as a special gift. Here she is hanging out at her favourite beach in Rosebay. 

She’s a super cute little Mille Fleur. She made a surprise appearance at the back of my friends’ property and curiously wandered up to the chook shed and joined the other girls.

She’s the littlest of the lot, lays cute sized eggs and is incredibly fast! I love her little beard, her bell bottoms and the way she carries herself among the bigger chookens.

When food arrives she hangs back while the others scramble in a cloud of dust hoping to get the best stuff. Little do they know that if you’re polite and patient ya get the best treats.

It all started with this little pigeon I met at the Sydney Royal Easter Show back in 2014. 

It had a beautiful turned up collar of feathers, perfectly round smooth brown head and it faced me straight on. I took a picture. 

My friend liked it so much she wanted the photo. It felt weird and a little bit meh to just give it to her. So i did one better and thought i’d have a go at drawing it. 

I gave it to her for her birthday and she loved it! 

I guess it’s a pretty special feeling receiving a hand drawn creation and it sure feels pretty amazing gifting something you’ve created

This is Pigeon no.2. It was housed a few aisles down from Pigeon no.1. With its puffed out chest, looking rather cross it certainly ups it’s position in the pecking order from this angle. 

This is Bobby for most of the day. When he’s not ‘meh,mah,meh,maah-ing’ at birds, catching mole crickets and sucking the juice out of them, looking at his reflection in the toilet bowl, skirting walking, smacking moths, making thunder noises while plucking the rug or re-potting succulents, he’s taking a good looong nap.

This Ella the Staffy and her fave Kong toy. She was a commission piece for a special Christmas gift.

This is the Moody the moodle. She loves chicken and sticks and is the fastest in the park! I was commissioned to draw Moody a few years ago as a gift for a friend of a friend of a friend not knowing a thing about her. 

Seven months later her mama found me on Instagram.

It was so wonderful to see her portrait framed and such an amazing feeling to have been found and know a little more about this super cute and curly mystery pup! 

This is Oreo! One of my friends colleagues asked for a portrait of her cat back in 2016 who was getting pretty old. Despite her age she had a very playful nature about her. I think I made her look younger than she was, which I suppose she’d be pleased with where ever she is.

This little guy is PK! He’s small but mighty and lives in Nashville.

His family were not sure how he came to have a solo eye or how he was named PK when they got him. But they love him to bits and he’s very cool!

She’s a super speedy wild rabbit chaser, phenomenal devourer of treats, hyper alert then super relaxed and everything in between!

She’s quite grown now. Took a few takes to get a photo with her 😄…she’s a very busy lady!

Big Boy Jasper and his feathery friends. Do not underestimate this boys strength. He will drag you to 20m in 3 seconds flat if he sees something of his liking.

Introducing this bright eyed little pup - Mooshi! She’s all grown up now. She loves the outdoors and loves the beach.

She was an absolute joy to draw. I just can’t get over her beautiful curious eyes!

This is Blue! She’s small and curious and super friendly to new beings. But do not be fooled! When she gets those crazy eyes she means business! She can occupy a 5 seater sofa, look at you and make you change your mind.
